TextCare by One to One Health is an employer-sponsored 24/7 telehealth service and the TextCare App enables secure patient-provider communication. Users can initiate asynchronous telehealth care, respond to ongoing conversations, or request a synchronous visit via voice or video using the TextCare app.
Key Highlights:
- TextCare is NOT an emergency service. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
- Licensed healthcare providers and support staff deliver all services, maintaining privacy in accordance with HIPAA and relevant federal and state laws. Our Privacy Policy can be found [here].
- Consent to Treatment: TextCare records your consent to treatment during your first medical encounter while documenting your health history. The TextCare health history questionnaire includes the Patient Agreement and documents your consent to treatment. TextCare may ask you to update your health history in subsequent encounters. The digital form and agreement can be accessed [here].
- Guaranteed Treatment: TextCare does not guarantee diagnoses, prescriptions, or treatments and may direct patients to seek appropriate in-person care at any point during asynchronous or synchronous telehealth visits. TextCare does not prescribe DEA-controlled substances.
- Communication Methods: TextCare may message you via SMS, app notifications, phone, or email. You can manage notifications through settings or opt out of each channel or completely, at any time.
- TextCare is NOT an insurance provider. Any costs for in-person care, diagnostic tests, specialty services, or prescriptions remain the patient’s responsibility.
- Service Availability: TextCare operates within specific state and federal regulations; some features may be restricted based on your location.
- Data Retention and Deletion: Users may request that we delete their TextCare app account at any time by emailing hello@121.health. Account deletion does not delete your health records. One to One Health maintains records in accordance with HIPAA and other state and federal laws. You can contact One to One’s privacy officer at privacy@12.health to request or amend your records.
By using TextCare, you agree to the legally binding terms outlined below. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use the app or TextCare services.
